Bobby Balcena had a short career in the majors but made up with it by having a great live. I've purchased a few things from seattle of Bobby Balcena and the collector all knew him. There are many articles written about him.
Fun Fact: In his first game he played against the great Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dogers.

About me
My name is Markanthony. Born and raised in Brooklyn. My parent are both Filipino. I love colleting baseball cards when I was younger. I collected my NY teams but often just collected what was popular.
10 years ago I was talking to my wife (then girlfriend) and she told me the first use of the printing press in Asia was done in the Philippines. No surprise it was a bible but is on display in Washington DC. The news made me have mixed feelings. It is important to be safe but should be shared with the Filipino community. It got me to thinking I should do something to preserve some of my culture. So I decided to make a difference.
The reality is Im an ordinary guy with just ordinary means. I sold my old collection of sports stuff to then find Sports Collectibles of Filipino decent. And this is where my journey begins.
So for about 10 years Ive been collecting. I buy and sell (mostly buy especially). If you are looking to sell im always interested (hit me up).
I never made a blog but I think it is time I shared my collection for people to see. If I had a wish (and if you know a guy) I would be to have an event space so others can appreciate it in person but that is far away.
